writes:hey... so ... here is my problem... me and my boyfriend had sex with a re-used condom about two weeks ago. the condom we re-used was first used about three weeks before we used it the second time.. does the sperm die off or what? he cleaned it out really good and made sure there were no holes in it. when we went to use it again, he put it on the way it was on the first time.. and used a water- based lubricant to make it more slick. i am not sure if my period is late but i should be getting it soon. im starting to get scared that i am pregnant. i checked to make sure the lube was not oil baased, and its not. i checked to see if there were any holes it and there isnt... i dont know what to do. im thinking about taking a prego test in about a week, but i honestly dont want to know the results. wht should i do??? should i be worried that i am pregnant??? i had to take one of those mechanical crying babies home in parenting class last weekend and after that... i am not ready... helppp....

You could well be pregnant, so take a test in about 2 to 3 weeks. And please, if you're mature enough to be having sex, be mature enough to buy condoms. They're not that expensive, so don't re-use them!

 Reusing condoms is just gross. At least you were very careful; but if i were you take a pregnancy test in a couple weeks, and please get new condoms and i would consider getting yourself on the pill. it will prevent you from getting pregnant and if you use the pill and the condom, you are in super safe mode. I wish you all the best.

re use? never heard it done before, but if you are truely worried, take a "prego" test.!!theres no harm in it. i just think its better to know than to be going insane till you get your period. but yes , the sperm does die ,i assure you it wont live for two weeks. just take the test hun!

It's a bit soon to take a pregnancy test, it may not work after only 2 weeks.
What you can do is use this scare to make sure THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!
Get yourself on the pill and get some new condoms.
Another thing is that your bf might have washed it out but it will still have been sat there with rotting dead sperm and goo in it for 2 weeks. That is disgusting. And he then put it inside you.
You could have caught any kind of infection from it because it will have been full of germs and bacteria.

well fist off never ever re use a condom its never a good idea. Sounds like you were very carefull however i think you should take the pregnancy test even if your sacred its better to know for sure than killing yourself wondering 24/7. Good luck.
