writes: It has to be said that my time on DearCupid.com has been...Colourful to say the least.Stories of incest, gay incest, lesbian incest, nasel sex, using plastic wrap as a condom, minors and their conquest to destory someones marriage, long disnace, internet dating, porn addiction, masturbation addiction, cheating, lying , affairs left and right, pregnant teenagers by the dozen, abusive parents, partners ,childen, Sex, drugs and finally.. Rock and Roll. This place has clearly showen the worlds lack of knowledge or responcibility in raising their children. there are some 12 year olds who have better spelling than me on here and yet they still want to use a sandwich bag as protection.I understand in times of desperation and sadness that we all lose grip on what's right and wrong, whats best and just. There have always been a rule of 3 that i have lived by all of my adult life. i live by my morals and conviction. The right thing to do.The wrong thing to do.And finally, what you would do.Not all of us have the sense to stand up and walk away or stand up and fight when the time comes. I've come to read so much pain and suffering and anger from people all over the world.and as corny as this is, though it is the truth of the matter.People need to just open up and start talking.

But I also think you forgot to count the blessings, like a love letter from a dying man to his pregnant wife, that is there for everybody to see, enjoy and gain inspiration from. :(

I completely agree with you that to open up and start takling is the best way of spreading knowledge and being able to learn from the experince of others. That is why I seem not to be able to stay away from this site. And all the people that has given me both good and challenging advice and perspectives, both as advicers and as questionaires.
Well written, Vendetta.

I agree with you, Doctor Vendetta. I have had my share of surprises, too. However, I would also count the blessings:
1) the aunts are willing to offer their help to complete unknowns, just for the sake of it. Not only the poster benefits; the people the poster interacts with benefits, too. And other aunts who read the posts can reach their own conclusions, even if they don't give opinions.
2) our knowledge of the real world we live in, which helps us to help others better in the future
3) the debates and different points of view that we all share here, which make us all more mature and brings us closer to be capable of seeing things with as little bias as possible
4) the fact that eventually we learn to respect points of view that we might not share.
5) the fact that our pain, our mistakes and our evil actions can now make sense and become helpful insights for other people who won't have to go through the same problems we had to.
6) the friends I've made in the site, particularly one person whose name or nickname I won't disclose.
I know what you mean, Doctor, and I can say you're telling us wise words. But I would like everyone to never give up and think, as in the Italian movie, that "life is beautiful".
