a relationship is very important you dont want to loose it over something simple or small to keep a relationship going you need to do a few things always remember ur loved ones birthday and celebrate it in a special way always keep good coversations going when you see them give them a hug or kiss to make them feel better and happier if you are fighting all the time of simple things take a minute and think to yourself is it worth it fighting can lead to a break up then if its something small let it go and move on and try not to start small fights i dont want to make this to long but if you have anymore questions fell free to ask good luck Xx

A male reader, Digiman Japan +, writes (17 January 2010):

Digiman agony auntI recently discovered the power of withholding my gut reaction to the little issues that pop up now and then...No matter how many times you've heard something from your mate, you'll be surprised at how much you've missed! Take the time to just stop...and listen...and listen again! More often than not, you'll learn something new about your mate by doing this!

It's hard at first, it really takes work! But you can become a good listener if you practice withholding judgements until you have heard the other person out to the end!

A female reader, Libra1963  +, writes (10 January 2010):

Libra1963 agony auntI agree that communication is key in a relationship. Nothing turns me off more than a man who does not speak. Trust is also important. If you are in a relationship and a man does not introduce you to his friends and family - get out of it - he is embarassed of you.

If a man does not recognise important occasions such as birthdays and holidays - get out of it. He is bound to make you miserable and depressed.

A good relationship he where you both recgonise the free things in life. These make you happy.
