Lubricant. It makes a world of difference.
I don't know what it is about sex that a guy finds painful, but for a girl, pain can happen if she is not aroused enough, or the hymen breaking, or if your penis is too big for her.
If it's the hymen, then it should just get better
If it's that she isn't aroused enough, then it's nothing against you, but she might not be ready, she might feel pressured into sex so make sure she's totally fine with everything that your doing.
good luck

Is the problem that your foreskin does not retract properly when you are erect? And you find it painful or was it just painful when you had sex for the 1st time.
Lack of lubrication can be one reason for mutual soreness after sex but this shouldn't be too much of a problem in healthy young people if they spend enough time on foreplay when the woman produces her own natural lubricant. So make sure you take your time.
If you used condoms (which I hope you did) you may be sensitive to the latex or the spermicide. Try switching brands to a non-latex kind.
I think you should keep trying together as it could just be the fact that you're getting used to sex but if it continues to be painful for you and your foreskin remains tight go and see your doctor. In some cases the answer is circumcision but this will be your choice.
