Give it two to three weeks after the unprotected sex, then take a test. Sometimes when pregnant you can have spotting, which is bleeding but not an actual period, although most of the time spotting is mistaken for a period. Get two pregnacy tests, take one the 3 week ( although you can do it as soon as the second week, but I personally dont think its enough time to test the hormone levels) and then wait a day or two and take it again. If your period still hasnt come by 5 weeks go to the doctor or planned parenthood.

If you have already had your period this month then wait at least 2-3 weeks and take a test. If it comes back negative then you should not be pregnant, however just make sure you wait for your next period to arrive also. If this doesnt come then you will need to take another test.
I cant understand why you would have unprotected sex when you dont want to get pregnant? Why is it worth the risk? If you are having regular sex then go to your doctors and they will be able to give you free birth control. This way you will never have to worry about getting pregnant again, until you actually choose to have a baby! And remember, condoms are so important too. You dont want to catch any STI's, there is no point in putting your health and life at risk all for one night of unprotected passion.
because you have had unprotected sex you need an STI test - I suggest that while you are at the doctors discussing birth control you also ask for an STI test. These are also free, they dont hurt and it only take about 1/2 an hour. This little test (whilst a little embarrassing) could save your life, so please make sure you go get tested. I'm not going to go into detail all the different STI's and what they can do to you, but you should google STI's and this will show you what can happen if you have unprotected sex. You can get anything from Chlamidya which can cause infertility to AIDS which will kill you. Please please get tested, and then make sure you never have unprotected sex again.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Ew? Em, I think I'm right in saying that you (some) can have the period immediately after conception, I think also depending on how close to the act it was also.
But, some tests will work from either 2 or 3 days, others 2 weeks so, read the packet.
And, eh; if you're really gonna continue to have unprotected sex, avoid full sex at mid-cycle, specifically 3 or 4 days before and after day 14, taking the first day of bleeding as day one (working on a 28 day cycle...).
