 Best way is to talk to him you and your friends sort a day to the pictures and invite a few Boys that way you won't feel shy around him. Another good way to get to know him is email get his email address n just ask questions like how you doing. But don't go over the top and keep pestering him and become obbsessed as boys font like this and he just won't want to know you x x

If I were you I would continue to talk to him and try to get to know him better...He might be acting sorta shy because he's the new kid. Also, if you see him in the hall way maybe wave or flash a smile. That shows people that your friendly and a nice person, which usually makes people more comfortable around you. Another thing is don't try to impress him or over do the friendliness, because a lot of times that can be pretty annoying. Just be your self and hopefully the guy will open up to you a little more. Well you never know what can happen, so just be patient and breath...Don't stress to much about it(:
