I know how you feel somedays I feel like crying but I can't instead I bottle up my emotions which really isn't good for you so I'm glad you get your emotions out somehow. Well if you are to scared to tell your teacher then maybe you don't trust them enough to tell them yet. But if you really do feel like you can trust them.Get them alone after school and I would confront them it's okay that you are scared but don't be afraid to cry infront of your teacher it really helps to cry infront of someone you trust because you know that they are listening and are ready to help you out. I'm shy to so I can't be saying to much but if i were you thats what I would do...Hope you feel better:]

Chigirl is right. When I was going through depression, I wrote to my teacher about it and he confronted me about it. It really helped a lot, your school will help you as best they can.
I hope that helps.

I suggest you write her a letter where you tell her how you feel and that you would want help. It doesn't have to be long, but then when you meet her and if you don't know how to say it, you cane give her the letter and she will know what you want to say, and then you can talk about it. Or, you could just keep the letter to yourself and look at it when you are to talk to her, and read parts of it like a note to yourself, to remember all the things you want to tell her.

You have to tell someone. Your teacher may or may not be properly equiped to help you, but she can at least point you in the right direction.
Depression is serious, and you should probably see your doctor as well. They can refer you to a psychologist or psychiatrist who can get you on the road to recovery. The best treatment for depression is a combination of medication and therapy. Meds for the chemical inbalance, and therapy to work on the underlying issues. Good job recognizing the problem and seeking that initial help. Now you need to make the next step of getting treatment.
