If you don’t feel comfortable telling he about something as natural as that like “Sorry babe its that time of the month” I find it hard to understand how you feel comfortable sleeping with him, unless you really find the subject that embarrassing which you shouldn’t.
After all most people in a loving relationship make love whatever time of the month. Its not something bad and im sure he understand and he has been in the same situation with previous girlfriends.
Tell him…… Good Luck. X x

Well if you are two embarressed to come out and say "sorry on my period" just tell him in a diffrent way, for example "monthly visitor has arrived" or you could use what all my male friends call it and tell him your on the blob, im sure he will quickly catch on, dont be embarressed men know women have periods every month and who knows if he is nice enough he might even bring you chocolate and rub your tummy.

"Sorry honey...it's the wrong time of the month."
You could still give him some sexual pleasure though, if you feel like it.

BUT then I had a think about it -- and I realised it IS quite an embarrassing thing for some... I still cannot buy sanitary items if there's a male check-out operator & it's the only thing I have to buy (I end up loading up a trolley & grabbing 10 other things! Pathetic!)
However, I don't think you (a female) telling him that you get a period is going to shock him terribly. If you told him you had had a sex change operation & couldn't do it because your stitches were still healing or something -- well, that might be different.
You can always inject a joke into it if you do feel uncomfortable saying "I have my period"; you could tell him you're "up on blocks" --- i.e. like a car going in for a service; you could say you "broken" or "out of commission"; or "sorry honey - the ride's closed" and raise your eyebrows if he asks why (he'll cotton on pretty quick).

If that doesnt work you'll have to be a little more blunt. I dont know how long you two have been together or how comfortable you are with him but some guys dont care that a girl is on her period. My partner doesnt mind unless im feeling crap then he leaves me alone, but sex does ease my stomach cramps which is an addedd bonus! just be prepared in case your boyfriend is like mine. x
