He says he thinks of me as the one that got away and that he wants to rekindle a friendship with me and hope it works into a relationship. But I can't see him I can't touch him. But i already feel for him his words speak to my heart and touch me so deep. How do I know if I really feel anything real for him? Reply to this Question Share |

Well, you haven't seen him since you were at school together many years ago. Both of you have had numerous experiences of life in the intervening years, and are quite different people to what you were when at school.
You're practically strangers. If you've been chatting online for three months, how come you haven't yet met in person? Are either of you married? Do you talk on Skype?
It would be good to meet for lunch, at least, and to take things very slowly in getting acquainted. Until you do meet in person and get to know someone over time, its not real, but fantasy and "castles in the air"........

You can develop feeling for someone that way. But it is important to be with him in person asap so you won't be dissapointed. Also, people and easily hide behind their words. Why don't you guys talk on the phone?

Yes I can. Because i feel it too. Right now i have a relationship with a man whom i met online 15 months ago. My relationship with him is 1 year already.
We fall in love. He introduced me to all of his family through video call.
And this he will come to my country.
Dont think that online relationship is impossible.. Yes you right, we cant touch each other.. But if we serious with this relationship, we will feel nothng different between LDR or not..
Do what your heart says.. :)

well, i dont think you could fall in love with someone over the internet.i would tell you to go meet him somewhere but you never really know for sure if its safe.i would stick to the safe side and try for someone who you actually know and already know them in person
