It has now been three weeks since i paid for them, and i still haven't received them. I sent the seller a message, asking when the tickets would be delivered , but they haven't responded. It does say on their profile that they usually deliver within a month, but i'm confused because on their feedback section , some people have put that they received their items, and that it was a speedy delivery. There was only one complaint on there. I should have taken that into account really, but because it was mainly positive feedback on there, and because i have had no problems with ebay before, i trusted that the items would arrive. So i'm wondering whether i can and should get a refund from either ebay or paypal ?. And if i should post a complaint in the sellers feedback section ?. If so , does anyone know how i can do that ( getting the refund i mean, and should i get it through ebay or paypal ? ?. I am very upset about this. Reply to this Question Share |

The complaint is not really seen by Ebay staff, it's just that emails about the complaint are sent to the seller to contact you with a resolution within a certain time. If he cares about his account he will. If the seller has very few feedbacks I don't think you'll see your money because the Paypal account will be dry. You may be covered by Buyer Protection.
Here's the Ebay sheet:

If you paid with paypal you can open a dispute. The seller must be able to prove the item was delivered. Providing a receipt to show the item was posted is not enough. If the seller did not send recorded delivery and cannot provide online tracking then paypal will refund you and he will not have a say in the matter. In saying that did the description say he had the tickets in his hand? Otherwise maybe the venue has not posted them to him yet? I sell on eBay as a full time business so can confirm what I've written is correct:)

Why don't you try email the seller a few times (via the messaging section in eBay) and if the date passes and you haven't received the ticets, take up a dispute with eBay and you'll get your money back. I have bought dozens of tickets via eBay over the course of 10 years and have never had a problem. Other than that, do you really think this is the website to be bringing up problems with eBay? I don't think so...

Contact ebay, ebay and paypal are connected. You can make a complaint through paypal AND ebay. and since paypal is very highly geared towards buyers, you will win because you have not received what you paid for. And DEFINITELY report this person to ebay, file a complaint AND LEAVE FEEDBACK! As a seller/buyer on ebay, I would certainly want to know about this kind of person! I had a police dept get involved one time when a seller wouldn't give me my money back, so trust me, ebay will follow through and especially if this person is doing this to others! Good luck and dont wait any longer to start procedures!

Concert tickets on ebay are a scam 90% of the time.
Venues only post out the tickets a few days before the gig specifically so people can't sell them on ebay.
These scammers are also good at setting up multiple accounts and giving themselves positive feedback. Is the feedback all from a very short time period?
I would send him one last message and ask when they will arrive, and if he doesn't respond then report him and try and get your money back.
You should on;y buy tickets from ticket master and places like that.
Good Luck!! xx

Ebay can give you a refund, if you report the seller to them, then again they have have just had trouble in their personal life, there is no way of knowing.
Keep it friendly, and send them another email. 3 weeks is a long time, so i'd probaly ask Ebay to get involved if they havn't responded in a few days.
