 I had the same experience when I was in my teens. I assumed at the time that it was guilt -- that I was doing something wrong, shameful, sinful, etc.
Later, when I actually had the opportunity to be with a girl, I found that there was a remarkable change in my psyche from the minute before I came to the minute after. All sorts of kinky things that sounded great the minute before were like "are you kidding??" right after.
So -- sex is a powerful thing in your head, and how you react to it changes over time and with experience. But as far as I can tell, it never stops messing with you.
