I can still handle the sweating part, but the odor not at all! I get it from my dad's side of the family. I really feel self conscious, especially in school! And now even more with me liking this guy and he likes me back, also I was always a shy girl so now I'm making more friends now. I'm not a fan of water and I know it's not a good thing and I'm trying to work on that. But I want to know if there are anything else I can do to get rid of the odor at least for most of the day? (which doesn't involve pills or medication!) The reason I say this is because I've tried pills before and they didn't really help at all. And I hate pills, also we can't afford it right now! My mom doesn't like roll-on so I can't use that so the only stuff left is sprays like deodorant and "perfume" which only lasts for a few min.I'm really desperate! Please help! I'm really fed up with this problem. I know it's natural to sweat and stuff, but the odor! :'(

Thanks so much you guys for your advice... and also what I meant by not liking water I meant drinking it, sorry :).
And also very much thanks to you maverick494! For those recipes! I normally shower once a day, at night. But I'll try and shower also in the morning too, especially when I go to school.
I'll try all your advice when I can, definitely!

Maybe try Rock Crystal deodorants. They have no smell but they seem to work quite well for me. They come in a spritzer type of spray and in solid block crystal which you need to dip in water before use. The block last me for about a year and the spray just as long as a normal can. I swear by them plus they have the added benefit of being 100% chemical and animal cruelty free. I always have a purse pack of baby wipes for a quick freshen up. You can also wipe Asocol, dont know what you call it in your country, which is a rubbing alcohol under your armpits as it helps stop bacteria building up.If your clothes are retaining the odour I found that mixing a few Aspirin headache tablets with water into a paste then coat the underarms of clothes leave for an hour then wash as usual helps.

Hey girl, I feel your pain, I was basically you ten years ago. Now, there are several options to beat this:
#1. Stop using over the counter deodorants and make your own. Trust me, with 1/4th of a tablespoon of this stuff under your armpits, it doesn't matter how much you sweat: you won't smell.
What I do is get cocoa butter (the real stuff that comes in hard chunks), coconut oil (again the virgin stuff that's stiff in room temperature, baking soda and corn starch. Use equal parts of all of these.
Melt the cocoa butter with the coconut oil in a pan. When it's melted, add the corn starch and the baking soda. Stir until it's smooth. Then poor into whatever container you want to use and set it set. It'll start melting again when the temperature gets too hot so if you want to prevent that you can add more corn starch and baking soda.
#2. So that solves the smelly problem. If you still feel conscious about sweating too much (officially it's called hyperhydrosis) you can use over the counter lotions that say they stop sweating for 3 or five days. Look at the ingredients. The one that was my fave, Odorex Extra Dry, has Aluminum Chloride and Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachloride listed as the ingredients. Metallics help (temporarily) prevent you from sweating.
HOWEVER. These lotions are temporary fixes. Your body will get used to them and the effectiveness will diminish over time until it stops working entirely. Until then it's basically a miracle. I spent a hot humid summer in 105 degree weather being sweat free thanks to this stuff.
#3. If you tried suggestion number 2 and you've gotten to the point where it stopped working and your hyperhydrosis is still bugging you, you can get botox injected in your armpits. This will greatly diminish sweating for three to six months. In my case it lasted up to a year. Unfortunately botox is very expensive.
#4. One last suggestion. Always take an extra set of shirts with you so you can change whenever you feel it's getting too bad.
Hope this helps!

Obviously shower daily like others have mentioned but that is such an obvious one! Basic hygiene really and watching what you eat :) Good luck

You need to be washing yourself daily and once clean, you need to apply either a roll-on deodorant or a spray deodorant; as your mum doesn't like roll-on then you can get a spray. You must look for a spray that is BOTH an anti-perspirant and deodorant. This will help reduce the amount you sweat and stop any bad smell. It will not stop a bad odour if you are not washing before applying it, it will just go stale and smell awful.

Try Cinnamon supplements. Many people report that their body odor has disappeared after taking this inexpensive supplement. Cinnamon is a powerful bacterial killer. By cinnamon I don't mean candy or cakes, but actual pill.

You say: "I'm not a fan of water and I know it's not a good thing and I'm trying to work on that."
Well that is your answer. You need to shower more often. Sweat doesn't smell bad BUT stale sweat does. Wear natural fibres and loose fitting clothes - cotton, linen etc. Drink lots of water and back off the garlic and spicy food until you have it under control.
You might also consider more swimming in your life. I'm sure you will soon get on top of the problem.

Deodorant/ anti-perspirants n regular baths but ohh you don't like water! I think I have run out of suggestions for now. But as a side note; have you read about use of natural items like lemon, vinegar or bicarbonate of soda as home remedies for your issue? Please look into it

A lot of girls and boys our age go through this, it's completely natural. Especially because you live in a country where it's pretty hot! Don't just stick to using one type of deodorant; there are many others out there which may suit you better. Also, make sure to shower every day. If you're already doing that, then shower twice, once in the morning, and once before bed. Also, during school days, take some wipes, or cotton wool with you, and wipe your armpits regularly. Also, make sure to wear clean clothes every day, take a spare shirt with you to school, if it's really bad.
But you seem to be doing very well, with making friends. If they're true friends, they shouldn't judge you because of the way you smell.
Good luck!
