writes:I've been with my boyfriend for about four years now. Our relationship is not bad. I just can't seem to get over the fact that he has a tatoo dedicated to his ex on his stomach. Its her name and her eyes. It drives me crazy. I wish I could do something about it. How do I get over this. He won't get it removed.

I can see it could be hurtful but she is in the past. But seeing that isn't letting her be in the past for you. Who wants to think of their partner's ex everytime they have sex?! I would wonder why he would still have the tattoo unless he ever thinks of the two of them getting back together. If he is truly over her, surely he wouldnt want her name on his stomach. Maybe it's just something he/s never got round to sorting out. See if he wouldnt prefer a tattoo over it - this time a picture/pattern rather than a name!

Hi! - I have the EXACT same problem!! - My man has his ex's name tattooed across his stomach in BIG letters! - It doesn't bother me too much - but even if he were to remove it - it would leave a massive scar as the writing is SO big!! - So like you I'm unsure what to do!
At least in the dark it won't really matter I guess!!

ask him to change the pic to something else then you both win its not removed but changed so it wont bother you

Ask him why he won't get it removed, because if he won't, then perhaps he hasn't got over her. In which case, you will always be second. Start with that.
