I've been question my sexuality for about 7/8 years now - since I was around 9 years old. I gradually came to accept that whatever happens will happen, and I'll fall for who I fall for. I've never had physical attraction to guys, yet I have women however I've been talking to a guy for a few months now and I can say I do really like him. I've just got back off of a family holiday and whilst I was there there was a female worker who I bonded with, we got on well and she took me and my friend out one night to some bars. I developed a bit of a crush on her, now I'm back off of holiday I keep thinking about her and its getting me down because we didn't get to say bye properly or have a photo etc. It sounds stupid, but its happened before with female teachers where I get this kind of awe for them and cannot stop thinking about them. Then, there's the guy. I do like him however im not ready to see him as I'm still getting over the post-holiday Blues and I feel like I'm distancing myself. I just don't know what to do, how do I get over a women 10 years older than me that I barely know?? And how do stop distancing myself from him??

dayvide agony auntHoliday crushes will surely fade away with time..I'll advise you give this guy more attention and let him into your life.. Once he's completely in your life I believe all the memory of the other lady will fade away

How much older is this boy? If he's more than two years older, I think you should pass on him too. If he's within two years of you, just allow yourself a few months or so to get over her (don't try searching for her online or anything) and then just talk to the guy and see what happens :) It's all about taking it slowly - so: time and patience!
