he's at my lab table and one of my friends is in between us. i sit at the end though, and since the tables are rounded, i have an ok view of him. :)

 I guess it would mostly depend on where you two sit in the class.If you're next to each other, hey, pass a note, wave if he looks your way, stab him with a spoon and nonchalantly look the other way if he looks at you suspiciously!But if you're sitting on opposite ends of the room, that might be a little more difficult. You could try greeting him when you both walk into or out of the classroom, maybe give him a little wave now and then.Or you could juggle flaming kittens! I'm sure that would get anybody's attention.
