Boonridge McPhalify agony auntlog off now. the reason you are doing this i am guessing is because your studying involves a computer and its all just a click away. you need to spend less time on a computer overall.

go walking or do some form of relaxing excercise

Go to a library and sit someplace that is far away from computers or go out and get you and your friends to start study groups

Faybelline agony auntProcrastination gets the better of us all at some point; when I was at uni I always went on facebook and searched through everyone's profile for hours just to avoid doing an essay.

I never found a way to stop it as such but I would clear my desk and get rid of any distractions, then sit down and force myself to focus on what I was doing. Once I always found that the problem is starting studying/doing work and once I'd started then I could focus.

The other thing I would suggest is trying to find someone to study with; that way it will be a lot easier to focus and it won't be so easy to get distracted by facebook.

Good Luck!
