Someone said something bout making my bf take some responsibility. I think I really am going to try that one. I know he had to keep reminding his cousin basically sister this summer soooo, I hope if it has to do with him he'll be a good alarm ;)

Put it next to your toothbrush; or your contact case and then when you reach for one, you'll see the other. Problem solved.

If your with your partner, make it their responsibility to remind you. That way you both take responsibility for birth control. It worked for me, and then if I forgot I could blame it on him.
Change to the implant if your having problems, it's guaranteed and totally reversible.

Ask someone you know if you can babysit their kid for a weekend.
You'll never forget again.

This way you'll be protected to the same extent... Without the fear of forgetting to take it.
The implant lasts for three years. The jab lasts for three months I think.
Talk to you doctor about what best suited to you.

Try picking a different time to take them. My gf takes hers at the same time every morning which kinda sucks because she usually has to get up to take them and then has to go back to bed to sleep in but it is a time when you aren't distracted by other things going on during the day.

Maybe in your bathroom, around the time you brush your teeth in the morning - or evening. I would think as you get used to this routine, it could become more natural.

Make sure that you get yourself into a routine, such as take your pill first thing in the morning or last thing at night.
If you're struggling to keep up with taking the pill why not consider other options for contraception such as an implant or injections?

I have alarm on my iPhone and it is ALWAYS with me. Also, I try to take the pill at night, around 10:30-11:00 pm so mostly I am home at that time getting ready to sleep. If I go out at night I just take the pills with me and my phone starts beeping and vibrating in my purse.
At the beginning when I just started taking pills I also use to forget. After couple of times when I forgot and got a pregnancy scare and had to get a test and all....I NEVER forget anymore. )))) And actually I also take those pills to regulate my period, so I treat it more like medicine.
Just get use to the idea that you have to do something at the same time. And after a year you won't have any problems!
Good luck!

Oh, I just posted an answer, but there's something else I wanted to add. If you really can't remember to take it, you might want to consider an alternate form of birth control: the patch, IUD, etc. Something that doesn't require remembering daily. Takes some pressure off, and lots less maintenance.

Well you should always be around your phone...I was used to taking it with my vitamins and allergy pills everyday. I've heard of girls writing it on their hands to take it at whatever time. And another one of my friends put a reminder post it on her bathroom and bedroom mirror, she took her's every morning with breakfast. Other girls used the cell phone alarm and kept their birth control in their purse at all times.

Wow, that's a lot of alarms. I just use 1 alarm, on my cell phone, because it's usually close to me. I take mine at night, close to before bed time, so I'm usually home and it's become habit. I do have my boyfriend around who knows what time I take it, so he will help remind me, if he notices I haven't taken it yet.
So other people are an option. Choose carefully the best time of day to take it, a time of day where you are usually, almost always in the same place. So in the morning, if you get up at the same time, you can put the pills next to your bed and your alarm. Or at night, before you go to bed. If you're having a lot of trouble remembering, maybe leaving little notes in your room or planner or something you look at might help you think of your pills more often and jog your memory.

A
