I feel left out when we do sports or hanging out. My family include my uncles and aunts are relatively shorter than me. I know it is genetic but is this the height i will get or can i grow that extra inches? Most of my friends are about 173, I feel low esteemed. How can i grow to reach around 177cm tall? Thank you.

Make sure to get lots of sleep, exercise and nutricious food. Try to stay away from junk food and although caffeine hasn't been proven to stunt you're growth it can't hurt to stay away from it. You could still have many years left to grow.
Also if you exercise and do this now you may not be the tallest but you can be and stay in really good shape which I think definitely beats being tall. I'm about your height and done growing but that doesn't mean that you can't have a body to be proud of. You're a good height for a girl friend too because you won't tower over them but you still won't be short. Height doesn't really give you any advantage it's all about how you work what you have in life.

Guys continue to grow until the age of about 21. Like you said yourself, genes do play a big role so don't forget that. Make sure you go outside lots and get lots of exercise as the the vitamin D we get from the sun plays a crucial role in bone health and growth.Ensure that you feed yourself properly with fresh whole foods so that you can provide your body with all the nutrients it requires to grow and be strong.Sleep is also crucial for the production of growth hormone so aim for 8 solid hours of sleep every night.
Whatever height you'll end up reaching will not define who you are as a person. Focus on what kind of man you want to become as well and try to be happy with the body GOD gave you:)
Hope this helps a bit.........:)

honestly, there really isn't much you can do. But it's ok! Just exude confidence and girls will like you! If it helps, I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 4 inches shorter than me but I love him. He asked me out and I said yes because of his confidence, personality, and just overall how he treated me. I thought he was a bit short, but I cared for him so much and his other traits made him stand out. You should come to love your height! There are many who wish they were shorter.
