It's just I'm on really heavy and for ages as well and I get bad pain and was wondering for a way to make it less.

So you might not have that much of a choice but to go on contraception if the pains are that bad.

I know exactly how you feel. I went on birth control and it help TONS. But I do occasionally get the cramps and as others suggested, I used a heating pad. There are those Therma Patches at WalMart or Rite Aid that stick to the inside of your underwear and you can wear it for 8 hours. I wore these while I was in school. They helped a little bit.

I used to have horrible period pains as well. To the point where I would miss school and lay in bed all day and be uncomfortable. My doctor suggested that I go on the birth control pill and yes, I still get cramps, but NO where close to as bad as they were.
I know you said you can't swallow pills, but birth control pills are really tiny. I also agree 100% with the hot suggestion. You can either use a hot water pad, hot water bottle, or a heating pad. Try not to think about them. Pop in a movie and relax with the heating pad.
Hope this helps :)

A hot water bottle works like magic for me. I'm "on" and am hugging my hot water bottle as we speak! No pills, just apllied heat. :)

I said the shot because it stops you from getting periods at all most of the time so the pain wont be a problem if you dont get them at all

But if you are dead set on not having any pills, maybe get a water pad or something and fill it with water, put it in the microwave, and then put it where the pain is, such as your lower abdomen?
Avoid salty foods. Peanuts have been a trigger for me. You might or might not want to drink more water.
Exercise.
Look up some natural remedies online for period pains.

if you cant shallow a pill as small as a birth control pill its going to suck when you have to take something from the doctors. the side effects of the pill arent that bad for someone as young as you are. manily older people get the strokes, or smokers. if you cant shallow them, they have shots that you can get that keep your period from coming for a few months since you take the shot once every few months, try that. if you have questions about it you can ask here or your doc. i know satindesire was on the shot before if you would like to ask her. sshe will probley tell you to talk to your doc though
