A female United States age 30-35, *ronicLemurs writes:

Whenever my fiance and I have sex, I notice that, on the rare occasion he "misses" and when I reach to put it back in, that he's a bit soft.

I asked him why, and he has no clue. It's been like that and he says he does notice it.

Is this normal?

If not, what can I do to maintain his full erection?

Well with a bit of research, I learned that after a while during intercourse, the erect penis will lose a bit of hardness, but maintain plenty to continue sex. It's nothing bad and happens to all men, so we're okay.

And trust me, he's focusing on the action....

He is not focusing on the action. He is probably thinking about someone or something else. Talk to him about it.

Yes this is normal. I think that every man has this issue at some point or another and it will happen on and off in your relationship.

LazyGuy agony auntHow long does the sex last? The body has to work hard to remain an erection and it isn't really designed to last long. What is the point after all (female orgasm is not needed as far as nature is concerned).

Has his health changed as the other poster suggested?

Mrs.McMeow agony auntHas he gained weight recently? Sometimes it can mess up blood flow. Alot of things can cause a man the inability to maintain an erection. Stress is a big factor also along with not getting enough sleep not eating right etc and believe it or not at the ripe old age of 20 to 25 the body slows some and you actually have to watch diet and exercise.
