Jiser agony auntwww.bodybuilding.com

1) Sign up to your local gym,

2) Work out 4-5 times a week

3) Split your workouts into:

- shoulders

- chest/triceps

- legs

- back/biceps

4) Eat 5-8 meals a day

5) 2.2 pounds protein per kg of ur body weight every day

6) You will not see results straight away, it will become habit in time, but you must keep motivated

7) When you see results you will love it, the power over your knew life and your confidence will help ;)

8) Depending on if you want to 'bulk' or stay fit you will want to limit your cv.

Ask Heather agony auntAs the Last two answers have said, it would be a good idea to check with your doctor, just in case there is a physical reason that you may be on the slim side for your height; but please remember that everyone is different, with a different body structure and metabolism. That makes us what we are, Unique Individuals! When your Doc has ruled out anything physical, as is probably the case, you can then get on with "getting on with your life!". Make the best of yourself! Take trouble with your hair, choose nice clothes, walk with confidence! See your face in the mirror, as other girls will see it; Wow! Like a man looking at a Playboy magazine; he sees a "perfect" ( surgically enhanced / Airbrushed ) woman; and knows that`s not for real! Women may admire a firm body with muscles in a magazine, but would always prefer a man, whatever size or shape, that will Love her, Romance her, Be kind to her, that she can share her life ( and innermost thoughts with ). I think you could knock the spots off some other well-built men with empty heads! Please gain Confidence in yourself, Tell yourself you`re the Best! Love, Heather.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (8 February 2007):

Read up on body building. Anyone can do it, but you need to know how. Its not just about lifting weights there is a food component to it also. Get a good book or two on the subject. The good news is for a male your age the results are the faster then for most. Girls love a guy with muscles so keep that in mind to motivate you in your training.

cd206 agony auntHi. The best thing you can do is chat to your trainer at the gym or to a doctor but things you can try before then is eating a high carb diet. Avoid the fat since it seems it just passes straight through you anyway (wish I was you!) but bulk up on breads, potatoes and pasta at every available opportunity and combine this with a lot of weights etc.

Stuart McRobert is the king of "hard-gainers", folks who find it hard to gain muscle:

He also has some good books that are on Amazon.

Sounds like you may be clinically underweight so you should check with your GP first to rule out any problems causing this.

Load up with fuel at every opportunity:

* take two glasses of milk instead of one

* use high-fat milk

* use butter when cooking

* take dessert with ever mean - yoghurt/fruit/ice-cream

* try protein drinks

* drink fruit juices

* get lots of good quality protein - chicken, fish, etc.

In the gym

* use big exercises like squat/deadlift/military press with free weights

* do some cardio work to keep your heart/lungs in shape

It takes ages to build muscles (don't beleive any of the get big quick websites/books, they are garbage) but you should see some improvement within two months if you work hard.
