A female United Kingdom age , anonymous writes:

I've met this man 18 years older than me while I was divorcing my husband. He treats me very nice and supportive. My life is back on track now. He says he can be my dad and worry I will leave him for a younger man. I love him and feel good being round him and sex is fantastic too. How can I assure him? Please advise.

rcn agony auntYou can't. It's a self esteem issue. The only thing you can do is keep up with positive actions which validate what you've told him.

x-kitycatlok-x agony auntThere's really not that much you can do except prove to him that you're staying around by staying around. That's the only advice I can offer. Tell him you're not going anywhere, and that you'll prove it to him by actually staying around. Age is only a number, tell him that. It's the person you're with, and you love him. Age isn't important.

I'm sorry that's all I can say.

Wishing you the best.

xx
