To 'sensational' and everyone, the law in the UK has got tighter with regards to under-age drinking.
Even though we have advised you not to go, we do understand why you want to be there. Of course you want to celebrate with your girlfriend! But if it is like the clubs around here where you are, and I live in England, you will be asked to show ID. Clubs can get fined £1000 for having an under-age person on the premises, and it makes no difference whether they are drinking or not. They can't risk it, as this fine applies to each individual found. And in my experience, bouncers seem to be harder on men. This is just my opinion, and what I've seen. A few years ago I went out, when I was 18, with a few friends. A couple of the guys weren't 18 yet, but the girls were. The girls didn't get asked for ID, but the guys did straight away. They were turned away and went home.
What happens if you get to the door and everyone gets in except you? Will your girlfriend be prepared to leave and go elsewhere? If she is, then you can try to get in. It makes sense to try. But just be prepared for the fact that you might not get in. You could have a back-up plan. Try to think of something that you can suggest to do if you are turned away.
I hope that reading everyone's advice helps you. I hope you sort it out and have a really nice evening! Let us know !

Hello.
Could you suggest to your girlfriend to wait until your birthday to celebrate it in a club? Surely she'd want you to be there, legally of course.
Don't use a fake ID - it's breaking the law and it could cause extreme embarrassment if you were turned down entry at the door. Can you not take her out for a lovely meal on her birthday? That way, her birthday is really special. You can then go out 4 days later together, with your friend. You should suggest this to your girlfriend and see what she thinks.
Good luck !!

What a bummer! The only thing I can suggest is change the date of the party if it's only 4 days. She might just think about it.
