writes: theres 4 of us and we are all great friends. one of them said that he is leaving to move some where else. that means we wont be able to see each other no more. all of us were really good friends but me and him are closer. what should i do since im going to miss him so much. with the 3 of us it might be a bit boring. should i try and get closer with the other two though. so i do acutally have some friends? help Reply to this Question Share |

It sounds like he's definitely going but just because you can't see each other every day anymore doesn't mean you can;t stay friends (although I would give him a couple of weeks initially to settle down and make friends in his new town) You'll still be able to talk on the phone and visit. Whatever happens you're still part of the other group so I don't think you'll be left friendless when he leaves so don't stress.

Yes it's hard when a friend moves away. You have to remember he will be making new friends so should you.
Yes i think you should get to know the others well, you never know they could be you next best friend.

It will be hard saying goodbye to a close friend, but its not a real goodbye, there are many ways of keeping in touch with friends, Email, Instant messaging and the good ole fashion pen and paper.
As for your other two friends, this would be a great time to get to know them a whole lot more and become closer to them.
