Sometimes, opposites attract and it works over quite well. If you guys really like eachother, then who cares what type of person you are. It shouldn't matter how one dresses and if anyone has a problem with you guys being together, then that's their problem. As long as you two are happy with eachother, nothing else should matter.
Best of Luck!

Think of Romeo and Juliet -- one of the great loves of all times, and they were worlds apart. Just don't ever try to change him, and don't let him pressure you to be anyone other than you are.

Excuse me, Harshbutfair, but each couple is of two individuals, whom are each unique!!! who are you to say they'll never get along..Goth is just something he enjoys, and he sounds a bit young, so he may be struggling to find who he really is as a person.
As long as the differences don't bother eather of you, I say go for it!!
Clothing styles are just that...clothing...
and it's what you really feel that mattters most of all..

Goths and trendies will never get along. Period. You also need to ask what insecurities (and trust me there will be some; there are with all goths) caused him to "go goth". Harsh? Yes. Fair? Hope so sweetie.
