writes:im in a dilemma, i have been emailing a guy via facbook, i don't know anything about him apart from that he recently was in a relationship with a girl i went to high school with, they broke up around new years. i am really attracted to him although i know nothing about him and have never met him. i think this could just be a crush but im not sure. i am not close to his ex so i am not bothered about whether she minds me talking to him or not but she does go onto his facebook and so do his friends. now the problem is....he asked me if i like him which i do but i know nothing about him and he might freak out if i say yes, which if he does then he does that is not my main concern. my main concern is knowing that she and his friends go onto his account and could be the ones that have asked me if i like him or i could just be paranoid as his ex has done this to me before she made pretended to be someone that i liked and i found out.do i just tell him that i think hes cute and take whatever happens or do i forget about him as he could alway get back together with his ex and this could actually be her that i am talking to? Help?!

 How do you know his ex girlfriend and his friends log onto his account? You don't even know who you're really talking to seeing as you have never met..it could very well be some joke.
How far away does this guy live, what is the likeliness of you meeting him? Do you know for sure his ex is still in his life?
Seeing as she has done this before to you, she could very well be doing it again. How did you find out last time it was her? You know to find out if it's her or not, I would tell him you're tired of messaging back and forth, give him your number and tell him to call you so you can hear his voice. If "he" refuses then you got her. If not, then it really is him saying those things.

 If you know nothing about him it's hard to like him remember the anomnimity of the internet can be a dangerous tool in some respects if you don't know him very well it's probably better to leave it be a crush and find someone who you do know. Its why I don't like Facebook or Myspace for that reason you may talk to someone online but you never know who they are when you talk to them is a show always be careful when talking to people you dont know.
