My boyfriend's ex is down and he offered her his spare room if she ever needs it.

Should this weird me out? Because it really does!

Carrot2000 agony auntI think it's the kind of offer you make to someone in hopes that they never need to take you up on it. Since he told you he offered her a place to stay, he's on the up-and-up and I don't think you have anything to worry about.

look at it from the other way round, you say to him your ex can stay at yours..

it is entirely dependant on the relationship he has with his ex.

if they are now very good friends (which is rare) and that is all then maybe it is ok, but express to him you are not happy.

if they are not good friends stand your ground and let him know it is unacceptable and he wouldnt accept that im sure
