not answering the question but this is for double m.the snip i think = vasectomy.spliff = slang for cannabis/marijuana cigarette.OP - make him relax, make him at ease with everything, if he;s nervous then he won't be able to perform as well as he should. don't put any pressure on him.xx

 Okay. I Googled it out of curiosity, and now understand both terms. Neither of those would be cause of this problem at his age, in my opinion. Hell, I was doing all that though the whole late 60s and 70s . . . ummm, okay, 80s and 90s, or . . .
Well anyway, a reasonable amount of booze and smoke does not bring down the show.
