A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (6 October 2010):

You'd need to talk to him about it. That's the only way. But be prepared to lose him, since most male FWB are only interested in sex. If you're looking for more, then it may be better for you to move on and find a guy who can offer you more.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (6 October 2010):

You need to have a talk to this friend and say how you feel, and that is how you will find out.

It might be worth thinking about whether a FWB really suits you emotionally, because it sounds like you want more out of life, a proper relationship not second best.

A male reader, the_phoenic United Kingdom +, writes (6 October 2010):

jealousy is a very big index that he has feelings for you,

and caring for your health is another

but please dont use jealousy so much because it tears the heart and the brain apart,

finally most of men dont connect sex with love

but some men would realy fall in love with a girl who has given them a very special night
