I'd like for the majority of answers to men just so i know, but women feel free to answer too with your opinions:)Okay so, i don't wanna be judged on the age different or whatever, this isnt about that...but i'm extremely close with one of my ex neighbours, we're really good friends NOTHING MORE! he's around 30. He recently moved out and he's single he's not with anyone..and like i said we're extremely good friends, anyways i was just wondering..do alot of men that age put kisses on the ends of texts? i put atleast 1 when texting him because i just always have done, it doesn't mean anything..but then he'll occasionaly put some too with some of the things that he says...is this weird? Do alot of men put x's on the end of texts?? We're not into each other at all, this isnt about that!! I was just wondering how men feel about putting x's on the end of texts..i personally find it quite rude and upsetting when people don't put them because to me it's like they're mad with you:') But, how do men feel about putting them? Does it mean anything to you?Thankyou!! 3

If I'm going out with the girl then it's usually around 3-4, if it's one of my close girl mates who I'm looking to get with, usually 2-3, if it's my family or mates then usually just the single kiss :P And then there's my best guy mate, whom we drown eachother with kisses at the end of our texts, just a bit of banter :P

My girlfriend puts this at the end of e-mail a lot, even e-mail to other guys. I don't think she means anything by it, but do you think the guys are getting a wrong impression?

I know guys who do and only when they're texting girls, we're a similar age to this guy and we'd seriously start slagging the hell out of him if he put a kiss at the end of each text to us guys. They still get slagged for doing that, because seriously putting a kiss at the end of every text is seriously soppy for a guy to do.
'x' is a kiss like, that's what it stands for. Fine if girls want to do that but come on a guy doing that is very girly.
'Hey how are you? kiss', 'Yeah that sounds like fun. kiss'
I mean come on, it looks weird.

my bf always puts an X or two at the end of his texts to me. It's endearing and sweet.

I know i'm a girl but I think your question is interesting. I use to put xox's and smilies in my texts when I was younger but now I don't to it onften unless I realy want to show the mood of my text is. I find it verry strange that a man that age is putting xox's in texts because no guy i know does that, not even if we are dating, and if they do it kind of annoys me because i find it childish. Guys I know only put them if they like the girl. Maybe thats why?

I never put anything like that into a text. Once in a blue moon i may but a smiley face, or a tongue-sticking-out face, but never, ever a kiss or hug or XOXO or XXX or anything like that.
It's hard not to find the situation you describe as anything other then creepy, ya know?
I'm in my early 30's, and i don't even put XOXO into texts with my wife, let alone a girl your age.
Strikes me as very girly.
