A male Australia age 41-50, anonymous writes:

ok there's this girl i've been friends with for 2 years. i was at the pub with her and sort of started having feelings for her.

So i invited her over for dinner and cooked her a meal to die for. I really wanted to impress her so i pulled out all the stops. We had a chocolate fondue for desert and i made sure everything was perfect. She was so impressed, and i even suprised myself. We had a awesome pash on the couch, but she tells me she is not looking for anything with anyone at the moment. Even tho she told me the night i asked her over for dinner she really wanted a new boy...

Is it just that she doesn't want me? it's made me think she is really shallow and that i'm not good enough. To make things worse, i pashed another girl in front of her and she got the shits.

...what the?...i was over the games and gave up on chasing her and then she gets jealous...help!

she sounds like a women who likes attention and will do almost about anything to get the kind of attention shes satisfied with. dont feel like your not good enough because obvi your worth her time. Maybe she feels a little impartial towards your guys relationship because what you shared with her you've have now shared with someone eles. my best bet for you is to talk to her about whats really going on because only you know how to word your questions for her and only she can answer them with the way she actually feels and if you guys have been friends for that long you should be comfortable having a conversation like this to eachother in a mature respectable mannor

yvonica agony auntMaybe that's your answer... stop chasing her and see if she chases you. Its not fair that you put so much effort and she acts like she doesn't care. Then all of a sudden she does. Ignore her see what she does...

Some girls like having to follow guys... some girls as dumb as it may seem... like bad boys who careless about them.

I think its stupid for a girl not to want a guy that treats her like a queen but lot of girls like shitty guys who don't pamper them...

Idk this girl but I think you can do better.

CJH agony auntMembers of both sexes can be fickle and change their minds or intentions in a split second. You can question it till the cows come home and never get the right answer.

No disrespect but are you sure you're just not reading her correctly? She said she wanted a boy but did she just mean "pash"? ( amazing word by the way - will be used by me again thank you). You say she acted jealous but was she just disapproving that you've gone from one girl to another?

Who knows but why not just move one and keep looking for a partner because you seem to have blown it with this one!
