 first of all i have to say its very refreshing to hear someone your age saying that they dont want to do these things even though their friends are because the tendency is to follow the crowd just so that people like you and you look cool! but you are definately the more mature person and i respect you for understanding that you are too young to be doing these things and being your own person and making your own decisions!i didnt do anything sexual until i was 17 and in a relationship, even though all of my friends and everyone else was doing it! i look back now and im so pleased that i didnt follow the crowd and do lots of stuff i knew i was too young for and didnt feel comfortable with! i know that you will look back in the future and feel the same! so keep it up and dont do anything until you are at least 16 (making sure you use protection at all times!!). Its important to respect yourself which is something that people who are "easy" dont do!I think you need to let your friends make their own mistakes and let them do whatever they want but it might be a good idea just to remind them that they are quite young and also remind them about condoms!! Carry on as you are-men in the future will prefer you not to have had sex with loads of different people! guys at the moment probably wont like that but thats only because they are after one thing from girls your age! stick around for a guy that likes you for who you are and respects you for your behaviour!take care! xxx

reader, anonymous, writes (20 October 2007): The boys who are your age might not think it's a great thing that you won't do anything with them but trust me, as you get a little older you'll earn so much respect from potential partners because you were strong enough to go against what everyone else was doing. Afterall, a man doesn't want someone who has been with loads of people. It gives off a terrible impression, that the woman is easy, is careless and could have all sorts of diseases.
Boys your age are too immature to see that girls who'll do whatever they ask are defianelty not a good catch. You should be proud of your opinions and your maturity. At least when you look back on your teenage years you'll do it with pride because you waited until you were ready and don't regret any of it. Contrary to your friend, who will probably regret most of it because she did too much too young.

 the answer is yes and no to making you more of a catch.
to boys your age its no as all they want is as much as they can get when it comes to sex.
But to an older person yes because it shows you have you own set of values and wont be lead like a sheep.
You should only do things of a sexual nature when YOU ARE READY and not before at 14 you and your friends are not mature enough to be having sex anyway that is why there are laws regarding this (16 UK and 18 i beleve in the US).
when you are ready to do anything with boys make sure you are carful and remember COMDOMS even if it is just masterbation
