Yeah, the first time you have sex it hurts a little, don't be scared by it though, there is somtimes a little blood as well but that's normal so there's nothing to worry about! ENJOY YOUR SEX!

Hi,

I have just read all them answers above and some of them make valid points. But im a Doctor & everyone is different.

Some girls bleed.. some dont..it hurts some and dosent others.

Yes it may be uncomfterable and a little sore afterwards and you may need the loo abit more for the broken skin to clear away as well.

So yes bleeding can occour but not in all cases.. any virginal bleeding is good to be checked out though. After your first time any bleeding should stop after about an hour or a little more.

Hope this helps

Its true you do bleed havving sex, but usually only your first time, and its only a little bit. Also, it does hurt, but only for a couple of minutes-and don't be so tense or it could hurt more once you do it.

A female reader, Misha_is_lost United Kingdom +, writes (3 November 2007):

Yes, in most cases loosing virginity leads to bleeding, not too much blood though. You may experience a little discomfort, but it wont last for long. You may need to wait a day or two to have sex again just to make sure the wound is healed completely. Hope this helps

A female reader, anonymous, writes (3 November 2007):

Yes you will bleed but it does not hurt, if it feels like the right moment then you can take it that step further, but if you are being pushed into it then you do not have to go through with it. Im not saying dont do it, im just saying wait untill the time is right for you and not when its convenient for him.
