Recently i haven't been able to get erections as big as i used to! i used to be able to get big withought trying. I still get hard enough to masturbate but im seriously freaking out. Do i have ED? I'm only 17! My girlfriend noticed a difference when she was giving me a hand job. What should i do? This started a couple of days ago and im sort of embarrassed now around my girlfriend, its awkward. Have any guys around my age been through this? Or have girls had a boyfriend with this problem? I want to know if this is normal. For a start i have stopped masturbating and smoking weed..i figured maybe they could be the cause? i wan't to solve this problem now, i have no idea whats going through my girlfriends head

SweetSmoochy agony auntevery erection is different! the more turned on you are the harder and even bigger your erection gets. Giving it a break is a great idea for helping it recover. also, I find that massaging my boyfriend's inner thighs in the direction of his penis helps too.

Learner.uk agony auntHi,

Sounds like you just lost your mo-jo but dont worry! Stop playing with your self for a while try a week at first then see what happen's this should help let your bits go back to normal you may have over done it, if that does not work then try it for abit longer and the other thing stop smoking weed thsi is not going to help your mind out at all especialy if you are worrying about your parts! If you still have problems, dont be afraid to talk to your Doc, and I know what your thinking "I dont want to get my bit's out for a doc" They see them all the time especialy at a sexual health clinic and its personal none will know!, then you will know for sure what the prob is if there is one.

I know a mans parts are his pride and joy, so dont beat your self up! Hope this help's abit and wish you the best of luck I am sure you will be fine :)

Your reply sounds logical. For now, ill take your advice and continue to lay off the masturbation. And nothing hurts down there, thank god!

MonksDaBomb agony auntWhile I'm a female and have no idea about the male anatomy, my guess is if you masturbated more often than is considered normal, then maybe it's because of that. For women, if we masturbate too often and use vibrators on the clit, the clit can sort of lose its sensation and thus women don't get turned on as much. Perhaps you have masturbated too much and have lost momentary feeling of arousal down there? Try not masturbating and doing anything with your girlfriend for a while and see if it makes a difference.

Another possibility is, if it hurts when you get an erection, there may be a more serious medical condition going on and so i would advise to see your doctor.

eddie85 agony auntYes, dope can certainly cause ED -- a THC, the active ingredient in pot can stay in your system for a bit, so if this is the culprit, it may take a bit before you see results.

Also, ED can be caused by being overweight or if you have diabetes (or are beginning to have diabetes / high blood pressure). You don't mention your weight but if you are heavy set or have a lack of exercise, that too can cause ED.

My recommendation is to get some exercise and lay off the dope. I'd also try not to worry about it too much. Sometimes ED is a "head" game and the more you worry about it the worse it gets.

If it persists it may be time to visit a urologist for a checkup.
