In general, yes. There may be guys who are too lazy or too shy for a "chase " and will appreciate the woman showing some initiative. But nobody, not even them, likes to be smothered with sentiment and drowned in messages and communication requests ! - particularly if the story is fresh and they are not sure yet about what they feel.

I can't speak for everyone, but I would personally prefer a girl that is completely open about her feelings - saying she loves me etc. Too much can go wrong when your having to chase.

Every guy is different. Usually guy with high self-esteem and girls being always attracted to him, likes to chase girls. It seems to him like a challenge if he has to work for a girl. And usually guy with low self esteem likes when girl the one making the first move.For me is the mix of both. I like to chase girls but I like sometimes when girl makes first move.
