I'm the same as "Illithid" - I much prefer the natural look.
It says something about a woman's character on two levels:
First, that she's not hung up on looks or other superficial things.
Second, that she's not afraid to be what she is.

But girls are competitive and most all of them wear it, so girls think it's ok.
It's fake, so I don't prefer it, unless I already know what the girl looks like.
Sure, hair styling and clothes are fake, but the face is more important.

 Personal preference? I've always favored natural. A little makeup here or there, or on special occasions, or when we're going somewhere formal is fine, but day to day I am happier when a girlfriend isn't wearing any. (If she wants lipstick, that's no biggie, but I favor less over more.) Even given flaws, or rough skin, or pimples, or whatever, it's just what I find more attractive.

 Honestly, it's all a matter of personal preference. I've met girls that look great with makeup and scary without it, I've met girls that look great without and scary with, and I've met girls who look great no matter what they wear on their face. It all depends upon the guy and gal :)

personally, i tell my girlfriend if she stays at my house not to bother putting makeup on, i say shes beautiful as she is, natural, and sometimes wearing to much makeup gives her small spots, so i say why cover them up with makeup when infact it makes it worse in the long run!
So my answer is, i prefer girls without makeup!
BUT on special occasions or going out for a meal or something it can be nice wearing makeup and seeing them make a special effort mainly for you, and also its nice to see the girl feeling extra happy with themselves, which is why i understand most girls wear it because they dont always feel happy with how they look so they cover themselves up, but i dont see it that way, i see a girl for who she is and he natural beauty, and once ur living with a girl and u wake up next to her in the morning she isnt probably going to be wearing makeup then so theres gunna be times where ur not wearing it anyway, so tbh, u girls should relax about makeup and stop stressing out!
years ago there wasnt hundred of makeup companys, people had to cope without it then!
Unless you go clubbing and meet a guy there, and he's had alcohol, theres a chance he loves girls wearing makeup and looking like a slag/tart/bimbo!
AND i also say to my girlfriend,
if a girl wears makeup to cover there imperfections or spots or something they thinks wrong with them up,
and us boys arent wearing anything, then your looking EXTREMELY beautiful standing next to us ugly not perfect men how do u think we could feel inside, sometimes ive felt like beauty and the beast! like a princess and a toad! i just feel like they have to be better than us and be the star of the show, which i really dont thinks very...cool at all!
Plus, when my girlfriend normally doesnt wear alot of makeup, but the one day there was a little birthday party she was going to and she put on everything she had, eyeliner etc...
It made me wonder who she was wearing it for, who she was trying to impress, and we ended up having a little arguement about it because it made me feel kinda jealous really, because she suddenly did something she rarely ever does!
So just think about how the man will feel, if ur wearing it just to impress a certian guy then obviously im assuming ur friends with him or going out with him, u shuld know if hes said, oh u look Really nice today, just because ur wearing makeup, or if hes just carried on like normal, that probably means he dont really care if u wear it or not, probaby he would prefer without!
Its personally choices really, its not just men dont or do like it and thats it the same for every single person in the world,every man probably has different opinions on it, its just upto u to recognise the hints and comments he gives you/or doesnt give you!

Like if you're older and have signs of aging, and then you apply just enough to cover the flaws. I think however that a mistake most young girls make is that they think if they put make-up on, they look more mature. When really it's just the opposite and they look like they got paint on their face.
So if you have a couple flaws that you want to cover up, then do it so there isn't enough make-up to notice. Natural beauty is the best way to hook them. ;)

I like to wear makeup. I've been wearing it for years now, but the guy I'm dating now loves it when I don't wear any makeup. I hate it, but I do it just to make him happy. I've actually gone without makeup for about a week at a time a few times! Which is crazy for me. The nice thing though, is that during that time, you start to realize that you don't need all that makeup to make yourself look great, because most guys love a natural girl.
I'm sure there are those that like girls to wear makeup, but the majority that I know like them without it.
