I love tall, skinny, nerdy guys with glasses.
I wish I could find one here where I live...

depends on the girl. i have girlfriends who wouldn't like it, but i would. and i think i'm a pretty serious catch. i personally wear contacts b/c i hate not having peripheral vision -- when i wear glasses, there's always a range of vision they don't cover, and it's distracting to me. but if you're comfortable in glasses and don't want to mess with it, don't change anything just to pick up girls. most important thing a girl looks for is confidence - girls like a guy who likes himself.

Guys have a tendency to go all out for girls, and then latter in the marriage, realize they don't get much in return and are then miserable. So don't change yourself just to be with someone, only change when it makes you a better person from the inside, if you do, you won't have as much gray hair (myth) in latter years and you'll be more sane then to.
We need a "men's movement", like the women have.

My husband has worn glasses since he was in 3rd grade. He looks handsome and very scholarly with them and weird without them. Now if he could just manage to put them in the same place every night we might avoid the "help me find my glasses" panic every dang morning.

I'm quite sure my husband would like to be 6' 2" and skinny! But he's still very handsome at 6' and not skinny.
He has the coolest glasses, kind of trendy with black rims and a rectangular shape to them. He used to wear contacts but I think he actually looks better with his glasses. He got all kinds of compliments on them when he first had them.
Just carry yourself with confidence and style, you'll be just fine.

Forget about looks, forget about material obsessions, forget about things which cloud your mind with negative outlooks on yourself. Rather you wear glasses, contacts, whatever will not matter. Rather you are tall and skinny or short and fat will not matter. What matters here, is you!
As long as what you wear, you wear with confidence, swooning a woman will be a piece of cake!

A
reader, anonymous, writes (24 April 2008): Personally, I don't find glasses a turn-off or anything. If I liked a guy that had glasses, I wouldn't even think twice about them! My boyfriend needs glasses, but has recently started wearing contacts. He's one of the lucky ones though it seems, as he suits both wearing them and not wearing them. If you want, you could get contacts as well as your glasses, and then try out both and decide which you feel better in? I must admit, sometimes if I go to kiss him and his glasses are on, they get in the way in some positions. But at times, I've actually asked him to wear them in bed. He looks so hot! So yes, if I was single, I wouldn't think twice about if he was wearing glasses or not! If they suit you, then there's no problem at all.

My partner is quite skinny and wears glasses. I think he is sex on legs. I love it that he's a bit nerdy looking, and I have never been atracted to the typical good looking man. So no!! dont change, there are loads of girls out there that will like you as you are.

Forget the contacts, unless you really, really want them or can't wear the glasses for sport or something like that. If a girl is so shallow she can't see past a pair of glasses then you probably don't want her anyway.
Personally I rather like tall, skinny nerds with glasses.
And, when you get down to the really important activities, you'll be close enough to her to see everything perfectly well without them...
