well i see alot of indies where i live, though im not a fan of their music some boys do dress quite smart and i have a few indie clothes myself.
Recently i went into the next website and found a few gems there, they may cost a bit, but are quite nice clothes.
If you do want to base it on the music EBTM.com has a whole range of indie fashion plus band clothes.
But if you want to be different combine different types to find your style of clothing and you should find it.
Good luck
and as already said to anon male indie is a fashion/music type not in anyway related to indian clothing

I'm going to have to be quite presuming here, but you can't class everyone that considers themselves indie as what I'm about to say. This is just my opinion, and I don't mean to group people. But as far as I know, indie's dress casually. For lads (as I realise you're male) I think it always looks hot if they have dark brown/black hair, but if you're blonde, maybe get a streak of a dark colour through? But dress-wise.. Skinny jeans, hoodies, maybe just casual jackets. Nothing too plain, but not too patterned either. But being indie is about being unique and DIFFERENT, not just dressing the same as other indies. Otherwise it pretty much defeats the point! Also, skate shoes are quite indie. You get lovely ones from Qube.

Hi darling,
Well a person with true style never follows anybody else. You should only wear what suits you, and that may not be what everyone else is wearing. Be individual, thats what Indie is all about.
Buy some trendy magazines, Elle do a junior version which is really good for fashion. Watch the type of music that you like on Video's and see what they wear. Go to second hand shop's, there great for getting vintage clothing. And if you want cheap new clothing on line Boo-Hoo.com is really affordable.
