A couple weeks ago, she fell apart after a race (took a wrong turn, and she's amazing so she took it hard)and I was the first one there to give her a hug and walk her back in my arms. Now everything is back to normal, she's quiet again and hasn't said a word to me since that day. She's nice, just quiet. Do you think that my actions could have sparked something, or am I overreacting? Any insight is great, thanks a lot!

I think all that's happened is that you've developed a bit of a crush. There's not enough to suggest that she's suddenly changed. Still, you'll never really know the truth unless you talk to her, so why you don't go over to her when you see her again and just ask how she is. So long as she's single, it's always worth a shot.

It is possable you may have sparked something. But at that point of the cross country she needed a friend and you were there. She could also be feeling rather foolish. That she cried etc. But you saw a side of her no one else has so that should be rather special in itself. Try to get her talking, she is probably shy!

So - nothing's changed, then???
The only thing I can gather from your strange post is that you've developed a crush on her.
