I don't know if this is the right place too come but I need some advice.

Over the past year or so, I have had numerous dental procedures that have not being delt with properly. I first had an affected tooth, and the root had too be taken out. My dentist failed too take the root out becase 'his instruments wern't long enough' so he left it and said 'see how you go with that'. Weeks later he left, and an abcess formed and had killed another tooth next too my previously affected one. So a course of anti-biotics later I was told it would be fine but weeks later I got another two abcess in the space of 2 weeks. He re-did my abcess (apparantly) and got all the root out of the other tooth. It was fine for 8 months. But recently another abcess formed and I was told it would be fine. This is where I decided too get a 'second opinion' and the second opinion proved too be quite interesting.

My two root canals had not been done correctly and there was some root left in the bottom of my first infected tooth. The other one was apparantly not wide enough so my one tooth still contains infection.

From this bad treatment I have formed a skin rash on my cheek in line with my gum that could possibly have formed from this. I now have too see a dermitologist about this.

I have now being appointed too the dentist hospital.

I was wondering if there is any way I could make a claim for this bad treatment and if it would be succesful?

Thanks...

Give it a whirl, what have you got to lose. If you can afford a lawyer, I say go for it. And please change dentists.

Good luck!

ingotblue agony auntHiya, there are plenty of adverts on telly that state "where theres a blame theres a claim" to be honest I think you do have a case I would recomend talking to a solicitor if you dont have one talk to your friends and see if they know any one.

I am not versed in law so I can only give you my point of view.

if you type in dental solicitors in to google and search the web the first thing that pops up is dental negligence advice have a look on there.

good luck
