A female reader, TasteofIndia United States +, writes (29 June 2010):

TasteofIndia agony auntOh my Gosh, my darling - why would you use a condom in a pool? Because you CAN get pregnant and because who KNOWS what kind of diseases he's carrying!?!?? A pool doesn't make you immune to ANYTHING. Chlorine kills nothing. You are still 100% at risk if you are having unprotected sex - anywhere, for that matter.

It's still early, but chances are you're not pregnant. This time you were lucky, extremely lucky. But, just because you're not pregnant doesn't mean you don't have AIDs, herpes, chlamydia. Don't be a fool, sweet, and don't be naive. You are too young, and it doesn't matter if he has the hugest dick in the world - doesn't matter, he can still get you pregnant and give you any number of STI's.

I hope you'll be smarter than this with your future hook ups. I hope that you go to Planned Parenthood or a doctor and protect yourself. You need to prioritize YOUR health and future.

person12345 agony auntYeah you could, but if you take the morning after pill the chances go down to practically zero. Get yourself to a planned parenthood or feminist clinic ASAP.

A female reader, Tisha-1 United States +, writes (25 June 2010):

Tisha-1 agony auntYou have up to 72 hours to take emergency contraception, also known as the "morning after" pill. The effectiveness diminishes with every passing hour, so you'd better get yourself over to the pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist ASAP. Like TODAY.

You should also make an appointment with a gynecologist and go have a discussion about birth control, have an STD check and see if things look okay. You should discuss getting the vaccination against HPV (human papilloma virus) which is linked to cervical cancer.

Stop having sexual encounters until you have done all these things; you need to educate and protect yourself.

Be smart, you only get the one body and your future depends on you making good choices. You seem to be struggling with that right now. But that can change if you change your approach. The sooner you wise up, the less chance of you having a child or an STD.

Take care.

A female reader, DrPsych United Kingdom +, writes (25 June 2010):

DrPsych agony auntIt is entirely possible to get pregnant from first intercourse. It also doesn't necessarily mean you are not pregnant if a man doesn't ejaculate inside you. Basically there are sperm in pre-ejaculate - something men don't have much control over and it only takes one of them to make their way to the right place at the right time. I suggest you get a pregnancy test if you miss your next period. You should also think about how stressed you are about this when you next have sexual contact. The anxiety could have been alleviated by using contraception or saying no. It is also the case that having unprotected sex can give you a whole load of other stuff apart from babies.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (25 June 2010):

If he went inside, you would have known it. It sounds like he pushed around the outer labia and in his adolescent excitement ejaculated pre-maturely. I mean... three minutes?

It is more likely for you to get pregnant if he got all the way up inside you and the ejaculate got past your cervix and into your uterus. Simply getting it in your vagina will not get you pregnant.

Relax. You should be fine.

However, shame on you for ignoring health class. What about STD's? Come on and get your head in the game. This is the REST OF YOUR LIFE you are messing around with here willy nilly. Stop screwing around like an air head... sorry... had to get that off me chest.

A female reader, Sincerely Yours United States +, writes (25 June 2010):

Sincerely Yours agony auntWhether or not it hurt doesn't give you an answer on whether or not he went all the way in. The part that mostly hurts is stretching that hole bigger than it was before. I guess he has a thin ding dong.

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO USE PROTECTION

Yes, you should worry at least a little. Wait two weeks, get a test.

A female reader, TasteofIndia United States +, writes (25 June 2010):

TasteofIndia agony auntYes you should worry about that. If he "nutted" inside of you, then it doesn't matter how hard he was, how long it lasted or where you were. You could be pregnant. Not to mention, very much at risk for STDs. There's nothing you can do about that now, but you can lower any risk of pregnancy by going out and getting the morning after pill. Go to Planned Parenthood when you can and talk to a doctor about protecting yourself. Also, get checked for STDs and make sure that you're clean.

Be much more careful than this in the future, sweetness! You don't want to put yourself at risk!
