writes: So this guy asked me out last Friday, and we were supposed to have a date on last Sunday. An emergency on my end happened and I tried to back out of the date as gracefully as I could under the circumstances through texting. He meant to reply, "you bitch, just kidding :) no worries you take care of what you need to take care of and we'll get together later this week." But I only received, "You bitch" and so i told him off by saying things like "you don't call a girl you want to date a bitch" and the like. Anyway, he was apologetic and we set a new date for this past Thursday. We cooked delicious food, danced, watched a great movie, and had the hottest make out session I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. During the date he kept saying things such as "When's the wedding?" whenever I would put something delicious in the food or whenever we found something out that we have in common. He also kept saying that if I cooked like how I did all the time, he'd come over with groceries every night and he'd love me forever. I felt that these things that he was saying to me were somewhat inappropriate for a first date, I mean don't misunderstand me, the first time saying those things was cute, but after like 3-5 times each I was feeling uncomfortable. Again, don't get me wrong, I think he is totally awesome, very attractive, and I can say that I do like him. Most of the people I know who know him however, have told me that he is a player and has slept with a lot of girls. This is where I have become confused. I don't know whether I can trust that he likes me, I mean honestly thinks that I am interesting or if he was just using those lines to try to get into my pants. Can any of you decipher this situation and give me any help at all.

Read these two books "Why men marry bitches" and "he's just not into you"....and "what men really want". It'll help you decipher male actions/words.Okay its still early, so you can't for 100% says the "you bitch" text was meant that way or that he doesn't really like you in a genuine way. I'd let him court me to see his true intentions. Lay off the kissing for now. Stay away from sex until he 1. says he loves you (for this guy though it might be too easy) 2. calls you his gf 3. introduces you to his family as his gf. Let him court you, take you out on dates and bend over backwards trying to make you happy. Don't give him too much back - sex!. Thats the best way to protect yourself and see what his intentions are.REad the books!

greeneyes9 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks for the feedback. I was thinking that he was just trying to use me, I just don't have much experience in the dating world. I really appreciate all of the advice and I think I'm going to lose him :)

are u serious? he asked u out on a date but u ended up cooking for him???? u may appear more easy and eager to guys than you think you do. many girls have the illusion that they can be respected by guys, but when you do something as stupid as to cook for a dude on the first day (go read WHY MEN MARRY BITCHES) then its all over.wanna see if he likes u?spend time outside the house where you wont be able to make out with him.but if he insists on staying in the house...you know the deal.

mmmm.. read more... So when you complain, all of a sudden your a princess that he's gonna marry...This guy sure likes jokes. He knows just what to say.. sounds like a player to me.He's too quick on his feet with his words.. too damn smooth, and too strange for a man who likes you, wants to see you again, especially since it's only your first date with him..

Sorry.. I couldn't finish your story.. got to the word "bitch" and didn't need to read no more. This guy has no respect for you and he's just looking for sex. Men don't call women they like and respect such disrespectful names. He doesn't talk to his mother or sister's like this, and he won't talk to his proper girlfriend like this. Dump the foul mouthed chump, he just sees you as a piece of meet. It's easier to call you bitch, because he can't remember your name.

Now you've been warned about this guy before by the people you know, and you're not listening to what they're saying. They're claiming he's a player, yet you're there claiming he's awesome, and very attractive. Please listen.
I'll add to their calls. I think this guy is warped. I don't think he meant to say 'you bitch, just joking :) - I think he meant to say 'you bitch', and nothing else. When you start dating, you don't call your date a bitch, even as a joke. He comes across as controlling, manipulative and someone you should not be having anything to do with.
So now it's up to you. You can either take your chances with this guy and almost certainly get hurt, or you can listen to your friends and me and get rid of him. This guy isn't a good guy to be around.
