 3 days before your first day of period and three days after is your most fertile period.
7 days before your first day of period and 7 days after is a fertile period.
The guys must be in place waiting for the lady to come to
have the highest chances of pregnancy.
The possibility of getting pregnant is there.

Yes, chances are you could get pregnant by having sex on the last day of the period. But that depends on a load of other factors. If your menstrual cycle is shorter than average, you could have begun to ovulate by the time your period ended. But it's rather tricky and it's best that u take a pregnancy test if you miss your next period. The earliest a pregnancy can be tested is 7 days after ovulation. However, it is better if you give your body enough time after conception so that the test comes out accurately. You should ideally wait till after 14 days from ovulation or up till a missed period. A little patience then.

 To be honest it can be a possibility but a very very slim one at that.
I'm currently trying to conceive myself and it can be quite tricky.
I've joined a site www.fertilityfriend.com.
All you simply do is enter information into it daily and it helps calculate the perfect time to try to conceive.
The second best option I can recommend is to buy an ovulation kit, but if you read about them, a few places will tell you that using these can sometimes make you miss the right day becaus your too busy testing yourself to notice the right time has passed.
