Yes, you can break a penis.....I realize it is not a bone, but you can rupture the cavities. The penis is like a sponge. With different cells that fill up with blood. It is possible.

Lady on her knees, me behind her. Thrusting in and out then BAM! I hit that space right between the two openings and my penis "popped". I heard it, sounded like you crack your knuckles and felt a little numb. I looked down and didn't see anything wrong, no bleeding or swelling or discoloration, nothing! I still get a good hard erection but the thought of it happening again is ALWAYS there. So if a lady is sitting on me, I can't enjoy it as much because of the thoughts of it snapping. I think now that it has happened, it would be easier for it to happen again...maybe even be worse. Same thing happen when I dislocated my thumb, the sensation of doing it again is always there so I'm very careful of now. The psychological affects tend to stay

(as a male, the idea of it is absolutely horrifying) and although it is very rare and difficult to do, it is possible nonetheless. If an erect penis hits a hard surface, then the penis may become fractured. I can't say I'v experienced it (thank god) but it's supposed to be excruciating (in one message, an individual said he had felt less pain when he was shot :s). Signs are an instant loss of erection, the penis literally becomes bent, and often swells purple.
I hope no one that reads this is in that situation, but just in case: seek instant medical attention, the sooner it's sorted, the less the repercussions. In fact, provided it is treated early on, it can be returned virtually back to normal (though it will need surgery for corrective purposes.)

The answer is no, the penis has no bone, therefor it can not be broken. It is just muscle, that is flooded with blood that makes it hard. A penis can not be broken like an arm or leg

But when a Penis is good and erect, and I mean erect in that it feels like stone and won't bend much other than from the base.
If you were to grab that penis and just snap it like you would a stick, I'm pretty sure something really really bad would happen because hard things can be damaged in that way.
I am not entirely sure of exactly how it would affect the penis because hard or not there really isn't anything there to snap, so at most I think you would rupture or tear the flesh where the blood is stored.

there is no bone in the penis but yeah its possible to snap it when its hard. I know a guy who had this happen. Him and his girlfriend got a little rought and lets just say it broke off and he bleed really bad, luckily they were able to put it back together and as far as i know it didnt have any longterm effects. But he said the doctors said that if he had waisted time calling them he could of bleed to death.
LOL i hope this never happens to me.

The hardness of an erection is due to a concentration of blood sent there due to sexual stimulation, either physical or mental. As others below say, there is no bone to break. Just skin, muscle and blood. Inside is largely a lot of spongy tissue that fills with blood, but it CAN be strained, bruised or otherwise damaged.

Penile fracture
Classification & external resources
ICD-9 959.13, 959.14
eMedicine med/3415
A penile fracture is an injury caused by the rupture of the tunica albuginea, which envelopes the corpus cavernosum penis. It is an uncommon injury, most often caused by a blunt trauma to an erect penis. [1
Presentation
A popping or cracking sound, significant pain, immediate flaccidity, and skin hematoma of various sizes are commonly associated with the event. These symptoms are similar to a common bruising or contusion of the penis.
Treatment and prognosis
If your penis becomes bruised, it is painful but is not a huge problem if it can become erect within a few days. However, a penile fracture is generally considered a medical emergency, and emergency medical surgical repair is the usual treatment. Delay in seeking treatment increases the complication rate. Non-surgical approaches result in 10%-50% complication rates including erectile dysfunction, permanent penile curvature, damage to the urethra, and pain during sexual intercourse.
Causes
In the western hemisphere the most common cause, accounting for about 30%-50% of cases, is intercourse. Of those, woman-on-top positions resulting in impact against the female pelvis or perineum and bending laterally are most common. In Middle Eastern countries the common cause is physical manipulation of the penis to remove an erection.

Lol Phil, just as a point of clarification when somebody tells you there arm or leg is 'broken' what they mean is bones are broken so thats why the penis being boneless makes it impossible to break in any clinically correct sense of the term.

No but you can 'fracture' it. Its common when the woman is sat on top and smacks down hard and misses basically! Some guys say they hear a snap sound. Sometimes it needs surgery even. Scar tissue builds up and can cause a bend. But its rare. My ex said it happened to him with someone once, and although painful for a few days, he didnt need to do anything. I dont think his actually fractured.
You cant break it though, There is no bone.

My God Girl!! Your arms and legs have BONES in them therefore it is the bones that break. A penis doesn't have bones in it, so duhhh, no, you can't break a penis (ouch, the very thought of it!!)

you can't break it in the sense of breaking a bone. But I have heard of a man sustaining an injury to an erect penis that left it crooked (also known as 'breaking' it). However, I would not worry about this. Just be nice to the little guy and no worries. :)

A

There's no bone in it, and it bends quite nicely, so breaking it isn't possible. Mind you, it'll be good fun trying!
About the best you'll get is making it sore through over-use.

Err no you cant the reason being because arms and legs have bones in them and a penis doesnt; its held erect by it filling with fluids and not by a bone structure, i suppose its possible to rip it off (somebody was recently jailed for ripping a man's testicles off) but other than that the answer has to be no you can't and as a man I cant pretend i'm not thankful for that. Hope that helps :).
