And I know for a fact that my mother will kill me for it.I'm not married, but I'm so in love with my boyfriend of 14 months, and we plan to get married one day. But the other night he ran out of condoms, so for a brief period we (stupidly) carried on without them. And now... what do you know. I'm pregnant. My mother is a very strict Christian, and has been all her life, and she thinks I am still a virgin. How on earth do I tell her I'm pregnant? I could never keep it from her, and just abort the baby, I'd feel so guilty.WHAT CAN I DO?!! Please help!

I think she may use 'the other night' as a while ago?

I agree that it may be too soon to know know if you are pregnant.
Look at what I wrote in the thread "I am 15 and pregnant I need advice how to tell my mom" at [ http://www.dearcupid.org/question/i-am-15-and-pregnant-i-need-advice.html ] for some ideas.

Have you taken a test and gotten it confirmed by your doctor? You need to do this before saying anything to your mum and upsetting her unnecessarily and causing hurt and pain for nothing. If you are pregnant, all you can do is be honest and truthful with her. Both you and your boyfriend will have to sit down as a united front and explain your situation to her. Ok she will be mad at first but she will come round. You are her daughter and she will only be thinking about your welfare at the end of the day and how you both will cope with a new baby. Listen to what she has to say with out getting into a shouting match with her - that never helps anyone. Best of luck with everything and hope it all works out for you x
