If you're still with that same guy in a few years then maybe you were in love, but know you can know for sure you might be and you might not be.When I was 14 I totally thought that I was in love with my bf. He was 17 and I was with him all the time for almost a whole year. We sent pics by picture phone about 20 times a day and I really thought we were in love till he cheated on me with another girl then I found out really quickly that I just liked being around him and cared about him but it wasn't love.

Yeah of course you can.
whats age? nothing
I know a couple who started going out when they were 14 and 15 (the female 14 and the male 15) They are still together. They are my Nan and grandad and they are both 64/65 thats 60 years. Obviously that wont happen for everybody.
But it can. So yes you can be in love by 14.

i think it's unlikely since so many teenagers believe they are "in love" when really its just lust. you could be in love though, only you for sure would know. there is no age for when you can or cant love, just as you are older you would have more experience and be able to decipher whether or not its real emotion.

I think when you're 14 you feel like you're in love. Believe me, I certainly did, but it took ages for me to realise that it wasn't love. It was a combination of lust and excitement about having a boyfriend. Then again every fourteen year old is different so I couldn't say for sure.
