DONT DO IT!!! I did once, and after it involved bags of peas, ice, cold showers and not walking for 2 days!!

the voice of experience here...DONT DO IT. :) I needed vodka, ibuprophen, etc afterwards. The chemicals blistered my skin and it was majorly uncomfortable for days afterward. Never again! Plus it didn't do a good job! It's waxing for me these days! :)

At teh least they strip your skin of natural oils and moisture. No permanent damage is likely, but short term is very possible...especially if you get it in your eyes, internally or on sensitive skin.

Waxing is a safer bet, or an epilatorI use an epilator on my armpits, and sometimes on lady area - be warned - it hurts, my secret a strong vodka and coke, two ibuprofens and ice on hand for afterwards. The things us ladies do hey!! But great question and I may try the veet - but maybe when my BF isn't going to be around for a few days after - just in case!!!

You have to trim the hair right down as short as possible and put some tissues between your labia to stop any of the stuff splashing your inner lips, which is horribly painful. This is something I might do very occasionally but it's hard work and grows back very quickly and sometimes itches while doing so, so not a thing to undertake regularly.

I tried it in that area around two yrs ago and it did burn me. It wasn't unbearable but it was painful enough that I've decided to not use it down there again. And not much of my hair got removed, so it wasn't worth it for me. But maybe it will work more for you. But it's recommended not to put it on further than the bikini line.

If you are sensitive, or the skin is thin, it can cause a chemical burn. Depending on how bad the burn is, it can cause scarring. I wouldn't do it again :(

nair works by breaking down the keratin of hair, which makes the hair dissolve. as skin also is made up of keratin the same thing can happen. depilatory chemicals can be extremely nasty if not used correctly, so always read the instructions and if you feel any stinging while the cream is on you wash it off immediately. choose a cream for sensitive skin, that should help

Nair can do some major skin irritation damage on those sensitive areas. A friend of min who is a guy tried it right on the whole area and we could hear him screaming from the shower. The chemicals that it uses are very strong which is why they tell you now to use nair to remove any more hair then the bikini line.
You are much better off waxing or shaving that area but as for permanent damage there isn't really anything to worry about. If you do decide to try it you may get a rash or it may just burn right away and you'll wash it off. Or it may work for you and not bother you at all. The only concern here is that you don't want to be getting that stuff right on top/in the vagina. That would most likely give you great discomfort.
In the end it is your choice to try, it's not going to kill you.
