Also, the question asker is only speaking of 'passionate relations' with herself, so that doesn't even apply.

Simply put - NO.
You can break your hymen through masterbation and other activities such as dance, horse back riding, etc.
Remember, it doesn't hurt for everyone the first time and not everyone bleeds and some women are even born without a hymen so you don't have anything to worry about - I understand that some 'cultures' and religions are very strict about this - so just make sure that your future husband knows about this if it doesn't hurt or bleed at your first time.
