Sorry this is a bit long!I've been with my boyfriend for a year now and things have been great! we are not only in a relationship but recently we seem to have begun a good and deep friendship too. We've started to get much closer. We tell one another all our thoughts and even though this is good, i think this is kind of where the problem began. I follow buddhism so i have very strong views on animal cruelty/animal testing/Vegetarianism. On the other hand my boyfriend is a keen meat eater, works as a country side manager, meaning he has to control animal numbers. He also agrees with animal testing in some circumstances. Generally we have very opposite views on some things. Unfortunatly the things we do disagree on are the things that i feel the most and extremely strongly for. This had never bothered me with anyone else, i let people have thier own opinion and i have mine (I am not on of those people who try and convice everyone into my own point of view) But because me and my Boyfriend have become so closeand serious, i want him to really understand my opinion and ive tryed to do the same with his. But us sharing opinions always turns into arguing and i get so frusrated. I know we can just accept we have different views and get on with it, but its difficult! our disagreements keep popping up everyday now. Im finding it hard and frustrating. Can two people who come from such different lifestyles and have totally oposite views work together?? once again, sorry its so long. Thanks! x Reply to this Question

Ask your boyfriend this question.........he could be harbouring a similar doubt.........if your getting closer than ever then why so many arguments? Is he scared of the intimacy, are you?

 it wasnt long lol, but to answer your question yes they can. My husband and i are two way differant people. but we get along great we have fights but its ok because we always make up. :) you two just have to drop it and accept them. itll be hard but its ok. it can work :)
