Go and see a good naturopath and talk about re-balancing your system.

It's perfectly natural to decrease after breast feeding. How long has it been? It took me a couple of years to really get my breasts back.

Oh, and as a side note, when I started doing Middle Eastern dance, and yoga, I went from a 12B to a 14D. Might not work for everyone, but it did for me.

A female reader, k_c100 United Kingdom +, writes (20 May 2009):

k_c100 agony auntUnfortunately no breast implants feel real nor do they look real. Fake breasts look fake! They are too rounded, dont move enough and lift the skin way too high up so as Uncle Phil says, they seem to defy gravity in all situations!

If you truly believe that big boobs will make you feel better then go for it, I am not against plastic surgery in any way (apart from tummy tucks) and I do believe that in some cases they can make a person feel much better about themselves. However it will only make you feel better about the way you look on the outside - it will not make the inside feel any better! As Katranada says, there are lots of drawbacks to having large boobs (I would know seen as I am only 5"3 yet I have UK sixe 34DD!). They might look nice in bras and low cut tops but apart from that they never look good and cause so many unwanted issues! And you will have the added contention of scars and the expense of getting them replaced every few years (implant do not last forever, they will need to be replaced every 5-10 years).

Think about it carefully and think of the reasons why it will improve your self-esteem. Why do you not like yourself with small breasts? How will bigger breasts make you feel better? What are the positive outcomes of having larger breasts? Why do you have self-esteem issues? These are all questions you need to think about properly before you go ahead with such a costly surgery, you will have to live with the effects forever so make sure you take your time with this decision.

Take me for example....I would like a nose-job when I can afford it. This is for no other reason than the fact that my nose in its current shape does not suit my face and I will look better once I have had the nose job. It wont make me a better person, it wont make me more confident but it will make me like what I see in the mirror a little more. That is the right reason to have surgery, but deluding yourself that you will be more confident and have higher self-esteem is the wrong attitude - confidence and self-esteem come from inside, loving the person you are in its natural form and accepting yourself.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Not having felt any I can't comment on the texture, but I've yet to see any that LOOK like the real thing. There are some gravity-defying examples out there that look pretty much the same whether you're standing up or laying down on your back, and look most unnatural.

A female reader, Katrananda Australia +, writes (20 May 2009):

Bigger boobs do not equal self-esteem. They can equal back ache, difficulty finding good bras that fit, men talking to your breasts not your face, and people assuming you are dumb. Harsh, but true.

Self-esteem comes from knowing you are fantastic-looking, no matter your chest size, facial structure, height, colour or weight.

Carrying yourself proudly and enjoying your life should be all the enhancement you need.

I cannot answer your question about types of inserts. I have heard reports that none of them feel real.

Please take into account the expense, the long term health issues, hardening of the inserts, and who REALLY wants you to have bigger breasts - you or him.
